New Deck

Posted by supercynic on April 18, 2008

I’m not much of a handyman, but I spent last weekend building a new deck. I think it’s pretty neat. Just click on the link here for a view from it. Then click on the picture, hold the button down, and move your mouse left or right for a panoramic view. My deck might violate our city’s height regulations on structures, but until someone sues me, I’m keeping it up. I’m just uppity like that.

The only drawback is that it actually extends into what’s called The Death Zone (roughly starting at 26,000 feet), so we have to use oxygen if we want to stay up there long. It’s not good for dinner parties, but it does keep people from overstaying their welcome.

I could use a handyman like you in my buisness. If that lawyer thing doesn’t work out.

I’m still enjoying the lawyer thing, but now that my deck is finished I have 29,035 feet of scaffolding I’m looking to unload. Interested?

Some of my people in Biloxi need that scaffolding to build their houses on The Point to meet FEMA/Insurance height regulations.
