Just Hear Me Out

Don't Believe Everything You Read (Except Here)

Posts, Comments, and A Big Shout Out To All of You

Posted by supercynic on April 3, 2008

This site has taken off like nothing I expected — from the Ricky Peden memories and stories to the more generalized category I fondly call “Crap That Just Pops Up In My Noggin.” In the 34 short days since this blog went up, it’s received over 3000 page views and hundreds of visitors — many by my blatant self-promotion, but others of their own free will. We’re now at a point at which I can no longer respond to each comment individually until sometimes hours later, but that’s a good thing. It’s a sign that this site is growing. One reason that I placed no restrictions on comments is that I wanted people to feel like they could come on here and say whatever they wanted, and I’m glad y’all have taken to it. So, please keep them coming, “talk amongst yourselves.”

Great…now this site is turning into Wal-Mart. I guess soon you’ll forget my name and respond “dear customer #12547-A…”

Seriously, keep it going. I really enjoy this site much.

  2. Wait a minute… 12547-A is my number. Maybe this is the most unprofessionally maintained blog on the web. ;-)

I called customer service and was on hold for 20 minutes. When I finally got someone, the guy was in India and I could barely understand him. What has happened to our quaint little blog???
